Moving On

Cannot believe its a new year...This past year was a bit chaotic.  I am not a phony person at all.  I just have made this my happy place and really dont share to much about my private life.  I try to make my blog about fun things that make me happy.  But I am having a hard time lately...So forgive my sometimes long absence.

In other news...
First off all I changed my blog header.  Still a work in progress lost my tagline.  I do not understand computers and programs and get very frustrated if I spend more than 15 minutes doing something.  I wish I was tech savvy but I am not.
I am working on a few things. Here is a little tour of my sewing room the hubs built for me downstairs, small but does the job.
Still working on my wool eater and yes it eats wool  good lord I am at almost two full skeins of Vanna yarn per row!  I totally love this pattern though.

I've missed you! Come back or stay away as long as you need to though. You have my email if you want to vent or whine or bitch or just put something down on paper. I'm a good listener. XOXOXO
Your wool-eater is gorgeous, what is the blue color? I haven't bought any VC in a while, so maybe a new color. Your craft room looks like a perfect spot; very sweet of your husband. Take care Neicee. Heather

What a wonderful room, I love it! I'm hoping my "retirement" house will have a craft room. The wool eater is also one of my favorites. Yours is beautiful. Great coloring.

Love your blog's new look, that dog is adorable! What is that you are sewing, looks like maybe a quilt? Love the fabric you are using.
Have not tried a wool eater myself, but goodness knows I should, just to get rid of some of my stash!
Sending good thoughts your way :)

No matter what is going on, I hope you are still finding some time to pick up your hook. Your crochet projects are just beautiful. Take care.

Your wooleater blanket is beautiful! I love, love the colors you used.

As to the Tunisian hook: I'm not sure what brand JoAnn's carries but some of those hooks with the cords on can be kind of stiff. I'd say just try it out and see how it feels before you even start. (Is it a Clover? If so, I've heard they are nice to work with.) I'm excited you are going to join us.
