Cath Kidston inspired footstool

I saw this cute footstool Saturday on my way home from work and I thought 9 dollars why not.  I knew what I wanted to do..Now just to do it.  I have been seeing hookers all over the internet stash busting so that's what I set out to do today in between laundry and making Greek chicken soup! I need something distracting, and happy.  It makes me happy sitting next to my quilt basket...trying to fill that up!
Ok Now back to my wool eater...Is it Monday already?  Have a good one!

This is ADORABLE! I have a stool with a top that isn't so awesome and never thought of trying this out. Thanks for the fabulous idea! And yours is so, so cute. :)

Gah! I adore anything Cath Kidston! And I only just discovered her here on blog...within the past year. THAT stool is beyond cute! You're inspiring me to do something Kidston again. Beautiful work! Hugs, Annette

Very pretty and happy; the colors are cheery and fun. I've got the stash busting bug myself and have been trying to think of different projects to use up some of my yarn. This is a great project for some of my smaller balls of yarn. Hope you have a great week. Heather

Great Idea. I have a very old footstool that needs some love. I have thought about covering it for years now. You just inspired me on how to do it. Love yours. I just learned to crochet so I'm gonna try it out. Is your pattern available? Is there a name for that Granny Square you used?
Thank you.
