Pattern Found! Garage Sale find.

I found my pattern thanks to Pammy Sue of Scottys place. She is amazing. If you have not visited her blog please do you will so enjoy her stories, recipes and crochet.  Believe it or not its done mile a minute style. I am so excited to have it and will be on my list of things to do.
Like this blanket?  So do I garage sale for a 1.50...Yea I know see the work?  Its done with maybe a F hook and fingering yarn.  Its stunning.  Its perfect.  All I could think of is the work that went into it and its in a garage sale?

What do yo think..do you think things that you lovingly make end up in a garage sale or thrift shop?

Yes, I love Pammy Sue too!!!
On that wonderful garage sale find....wow, that is gorgeous! A great rescue!!! I am very careful about giving away hand mades. If the person you are giving it to, does not have any appreciation for hand mades, then it will most certainly be put into a garage sale bin, or stuffed to the back of a closet or whatever! I absolutely love to find a beautiful rescue piece like that!!!!

Such a pretty blanket. It's a shame that it was at a garage sale for only $1.50 - jeez, the crochet hook costs more than that. It's good that you found it and gave it a new home. I think I would be very sad if I found something I crocheted at a garage sale or a thrift store.

Oh my goodness...the work that was put into that gorgeous afghan, and then somebody sells it for $1.50! Great rescue, and at least now it belongs to somebody who can, and does, appreciate it for its true worth. :)

Congratulations on finding your pattern! That was so sweet of Pammy Sue to help you.
What a beautiful find! I'm glad you saved it from an unknown future; it's sad, but I see many beautiful hand crocheted items at yard sales and thrift stores.
Blessings,
Kate

Alot of people do not appreciate the hard work, time and effort it takes to make something special. I absolutely LOVE the fact that you bought it. Good for you, shame on them! It is stunning! Congrats on finding your pattern too! :)

This is so pretty and feminine-looking. Someone is cringing in their grave at the $1.50 price someone put on this! I always thinking about my crochet things ending up like this when I see things at garage sales or shops for little to nothing. But I'm always glad I'm the lucky one that found them first! This is a great find!
Yay on getting the pattern. I just adore Pammy Sue, she rocks! :)

I can't believe someone was selling this for 1.50. That just blows my mind. All that work that went into making this...days, maybe even months. Wow. Glad it found a loving home though. I know you will take care of it and enjoy it for many years to come.

Wishing you a lovely day.

That $1.50 wouldn't even buy 1 skein of yarn. You lucked out on that one Neicee. What a wonderful find.
Susanne :)
