Baking Bread

I dont know about you..But I love bread. I am married to an Italian man that thinks bread should be at every meal.. At age 50 I can tell you I have tried and tried to make homemade bread and always a failure..Years I have searched for the perfect crusty on the outside and soft on the inside perfect bread recipies....Cause I love you all Im here to share with the the perfect no fail crusty bread recipie. It will be perfect. I promise. The key is the dutch oven. You must have one or it wont come out right. It aint cheap I bought a cheaper one it was 57 dollars. They are pricey but make a bunch of bread and it pays for itself. You tube has a video HERE of the author of this recipie making it (Mark Bittman)...so easy a 4 year old can do it... Little Miss Sunshine

I finished this little dress last night. It is my favorite. I was so excited to be a test crocheter for Sarah of Sarahs sweethearts. She offers the new born size for free! Very generous. Hopefully now that my children live so close I will get a picture of my grandaughter in it.

My life is returning to normal somewhat. My Son and his wife have moved in to their new home. My parents are leaving tomorrow for NJ..I will be quite sad this two months flew by! Have a wonderful Monday.

I have had a few emails asking "Where you been?" "You ok?"
I have not found time to blog lately...Its not on my priority list. Watching a few of my friends actually drop off and close their blogs due to family matters or realizing its just too much pressure.
I dont make my blog a priority..I love all my blog friends and love to share..When I can. The stress level is at fever pitch around here.
Here is my list of what I have been up to lately.

1. Kids are moving here...Packing, trying to find house to rent...Transitioning...Finding a job..daycare. living with us.
2. Parents are here..trying to find time for them..Etc.
3. Running a business and working full time.
4. Exercise is a priority for sanity.
5. Running my own home...keep food in it, clean it etc.
6. CEU's my continuing eduction classes..To keep x-ray license etc.
They take up losts of time. And I have a few licenses to keep current
(just in case I ever need to use them again!)
7. Finding time to hook, quilt and knit is always last on the list..:o(
If I get any done its at 2 am...When I can sleep worried about my list!


I wish this was then end of the list...Its not..I have plenty more but I just dont have time to share cause I need to run to work! Chow baby! Love you all...Talk soon.

cable cowl

Finished this cable cowl last night...Love it! Easy and fun. I cannot say enough about sheepish...Soft and a dream to knit with. Sorry for the dark pictures it is not great weather here today. It needs to be blocked and buttons put on. I will get some better pictures. Sorry its not a free pattern on cover of last months knit simple!
