Cath Kidston inspired footstool

I saw this cute footstool Saturday on my way home from work and I thought 9 dollars why not.  I knew what I wanted to do..Now just to do it.  I have been seeing hookers all over the internet stash busting so that's what I set out to do today in between laundry and making Greek chicken soup! I need something distracting, and happy.  It makes me happy sitting next to my quilt basket...trying to fill that up!
Ok Now back to my wool eater...Is it Monday already?  Have a good one!

Tunisian Crochet along!

Bev over at One yarn after another is having a Tunisian Crochet along...Starting Feburary 20th!  Very exciting.  Find more information HERE.. She designed this beautiful blanket and its in Crochet World this month.  Tunisian is quite easy to learn.  I only know the basics but its easier to learn than regular crochet.  Kim Guzman has a ton of information on her site and great tutorials on you tube.  Come on and join us.
I am still working on my wool eater its getting heavier and bigger...Cannot wait to finish!
I purchased these beautiful tunisian hooks from Webs. I had a gift card and they were a gift to me. I never buy for myself.  I have Tunisian hooks from way back but they are long and stiff. So I went to Joanns and purchased one and not happy with that either. So I purchased these cannot wait to get them.

Moving On

In other news...
First off all I changed my blog header.  Still a work in progress lost my tagline.  I do not understand computers and programs and get very frustrated if I spend more than 15 minutes doing something.  I wish I was tech savvy but I am not.
I am working on a few things. Here is a little tour of my sewing room the hubs built for me downstairs, small but does the job.
Still working on my wool eater and yes it eats wool  good lord I am at almost two full skeins of Vanna yarn per row!  I totally love this pattern though.

Still sewing and creating.   This wall hanging/quilt was made at the recent quilt show in Lakeland Florida.  My mom and I attended and took...
