Payton blanket complete!

I love this blanket..I enjoyed the whole process right until the end!  I washed and blocked to be sure all tails remained woven in..I use 6 inches to be sure of each tail..Thanks Tillie Tulip for the great tutorial!  Dont you just love my Doll..she looks so real!

What I've been up to..

Tech savy I am not.  If I did not have my daughter in law, Rachel and my Son to guide me through so many processes I would probably not use a computer.  Any way I still dont have my computer my poor son works so many hours in this brutal heat over hot cars I dont have the heart to ask him how my computer is.  So here is what I have been up to Via my work computer..Had to go in 1/2 hour earlier to post.

My Neice had a baby on the same day as my Grandaughters Birthday..Her name is Payton Avery and this is for her. I started traditional pink but went with this lovely color combo.. I love this yarn and Vannas yarn.  Great colors...So excited finished number 36 last night...started this 3rd week of July..I work full time so its been late at night and early in the morning..

Did you see this great new pattern?  I am in love.. I need to go buy some clothesline from Ace Hardware!!
I have even seen them made from piping you can get from fabric store. My Saturday routine is get up and get coffee and check crochet pattern central for all the new patterns posted the previous week.
  I am still without my computer. My son is going to try and fix it and he is so busy so I need to be patient.   I am posting from work. Yes working on Saturday.  YUK  I got a guy on vacation so I am covering.   Have a great weekend!
