More This and That

Finishing up some projects...Pillow completed. I followed Lucy of Attic 24 on the front the back I just did a big circle. This is to go with my california dreaming quilt that I just cannot seem to finish. Did the border once did not like. Now I am working on it again and just have a problem with finishing or should I say completing the binding to sew.
Tea cozy was done during a few nights of insomnia...UGG I walk around like a zombie. Preparing for Kids to move over and Parents are coming down. Running a business.. Life in general.
Anyway..no pattern did grit stitch for body of tea cozy just added a bunch of leaves..Just free formed it and Roses I have memorized from Lion brand yarn web site.

Chloe Cardigan

Made this adorable cardigan for my grandaughter today and yesterday on and off.. I just adore it! You can find it HERE
I love it and will be casting on another tonight! Fun and easy.

beehive slouch

This is my beehive slouch. My own pattern I am working on...Still working on some quirks in it. Love it though.. Loops and threads wool..The best soft and easy to work with. One episode of Law and Order and One episode of the closer and I was sewing on my flower! Instant gratification..Size 11 and 15 needles.

The Beanery

When visiting my sister Dawn in Nj she served me the most wonderful cup of chai tea I have ever had...I tried them all and this place by far has the best! Its a powder..She ordered it from them by the bags full. You can get it by packets or by a big bag. She buys a big bag with a friend and they split it. I just purchased a big bag for myself. They have variety packs and coffee also. All I can say is you need this! Treat yourself I did...Yumm I can hardly wait. CLICK HERE to visit their site!

Whats doing

As the Garden Bell so aptly put I have holiday fog brain. Kids left and the hustle and bustle is over..I took tree down day after Chrismtas..Im like that.


Anywho..Have some projects to finish. One is a secret cannot wait to show the other is for charity. I have been slaking on my charity hooking and quilting lately. Shame on me. I am hoping when my daughter in law moves closer we will be able to quilt more. When we are together now we are always busy knitting or crocheting its wonderful to have so much in common with her.


This beauty caught my eye! I was given some of this amazing yarn from Rachel for Christmas and I am thrilled to have found this pattern.
