Dove gray hat....

Today I had a request for a dove gray hat. This came out beautiful! I actually love the color and noticed that gray is really in right now. My Pammy Sue Model looks just fabulous in her gray hat. I know I have said it before but this hat is awesome.. Its Autumn on Ravelry. Easy and the results are great. The hat looks attractive on just about everyone.. Except the Hubs...Also my new knitting needle organizer I got on Etsy. Love it! Is it Monday already?

Doing the Happy Dance!

When I came home today after a loooong day at work. I was pleased as punch to see my Lucy pack of yarn from Deramores in the UK on my step. So quick. I am so pleased. I looked at it and felt it and rearranged it for about 20 minutes. Now it is safetly tucked away in my crochet room in my yarn closet. Ahhh now I can dream. Have other items to finished before I delve into my pile of lovely yarn but for now I can admire. I am thinking about sending for another. It came to 36 American dollars and free shipping. I checked they are still offering free shipping!

Another Post!

I know I dont post for three weeks then three posts in one day! Go figure. Trying to finish up some projects today. Finished the afghan and while rolling up the scraps left over I decided to give this hat a whirl! So cute! A lot of sewing though.

This is bar none! My favorite hat I ever made thus far! It was knit with cool wool from loops and threads.. Soft and wonderful. Knit on size 13 needle this was a one night project! There is something so soothing about knitting. The pattern I purchased on Ravelry. Its called Autumn

Yes another hat..I love them fast easy..instant gratification. Christmas is coming. This is just a basic slouch. The yarn is Joann's sensations its a wrap yarn. I like the yarn and tried the new Tulip hook that is on sale at Joann's for 7.99! I may never use another hook! They are amazing.

Yes another hat!

I made this hat this weekend! I purchased the pattern from Gu-chet on Etsy. Great pattern very interesting construction. I will make this hat again, but I will use larger hook. It calls for J but It was still very tight. I am a tight crocheter but the front double crochets are a tight stitch anyway.. This hat is a yarn eater.. Two whole skeins of Homespun. Not my favorite yarn to work with due to the fact that its splitty. But It made a nice hat. Its finally cooled down a bit here it was 65 at 5:30 this am so I was happy! Happy Monday!

Baby blanket blues!

Having issues with my camera! Finally got it fixed! I think..Working on a baby blanket for a friend having a boy! I must really love these colors! Cause here is a blanket from 08 I made for charity. Looks very similar!
