Not your grandmas doily!

I just love this doily I finished yesterday! I am coming up with some new and exciting Ideas for my Etsy shop. This contemporary doily is done with Noro sock yarn. It is gloomy here today so I cannot get great pictures of the colors in this doily..Maybe tomorrow.
I have a friend who is very successful with her Etsy shop. (She has thousands of followers, she was asked to fly to NY to speak on her marketing skills! She gave me me Photo tips, and tips on what sells. I am stoked! I am completing some baby items and home decor items soon to be listed.

A friend of mine said how do you get anything done? I just do..
My schedule is full but that is how I like it.

4:45 Coffee goes on..Im up... Maybe hook while the coffee brews
6:45 Bootcamp starts
7:00 Home/Shower/Work
5:00 Store and then home.
Start dinner
Load of laundry
Clean up (cluttered house cluttered mind)
Eat
Clean up again
put out clothes for AM
Hook a bit?
9:00 Bed
Yikes how do I get anything done?

Today is a gray day! Rainy and blah! Trying to catch up on some projects. Finished this hat watching Pelican Brief...Love that Denzel

Citrus Hat

I love this hat! Great colors..I am not sure about he pictures my Sony camera exactly one month shy of a year stopped working. Of course I have the warranty but I have to mail away the camera and fill out all this paperwork and wait to be notified by the company before actually mailing it in. They have to send me an ok..Its a bunch of crapola! Sooo I had a gift card and went and purchased this Kodak easy share. (Not so easy) And I can honestly see the difference in pictures. Oh well it will work for now then the hubs can have this camera for fishing!

I am so excited I got my new Mannequin head today..I got it from a dealer in NJ..I am going to order more wigs! Isnt she fun!

The Mad Hatter!

Im in a hat mood! While in NJ My Mom was watching NJ Housewives (when in Rome) So while watching I spotted a housewife with a hat on...I could not stop thinking about this hat. I planned it out my whole plane ride home..I could not find a picture on the web. I came home same day came up with the grey hat. (I was using what I had as far as yarn) Something did not feel right. I like the hat but dont think that was the hat. After further searching I found the picture of the hat. The black hat is as close to it as I think Im going to get. These are my patterns in my head so I wont be able to link to them.. :0( I am so excited I am making more for our shop!

I love making hats..I love baby hats, you can whip one up in an hour instant gratification! These hats were such fun to make..Im on a roll.
