Vintage Baby Bonnet

I knit this vintage look baby bonnet in a few evenings. I tried to find a hat pattern I liked on the web to no avail..I found a few but did not agree with some of the methods etc, so this is my own pattern.
Its made from 100% cotton...Love it!

See this bear? I wrote this pattern for Crochet World back in the 90's. His head is actually supposed to be and was crocheted to be more cocked to the side actually on the blanket but during shipping they must have tried to straighten it out. I wrote a few for them.. I have seen it on Freepatterns.com It is no longer there but this person is Selling them..I wonder if I could get a kickback? LOL

Hello Kitty!

Finally finished this Hello Kitty hat for my grandaughter...The embroidery took longer than the hat! Yuk...Loved making the hat dislike embroidery. Anywho its done and ready for little Miss Chloe to wear! My pattern is a baby hat pattern I have used many times before. I raveled the hat and used many other ideas from the multiple Hello Kitty hat patterns on the web. I am working also on my Noro Granny..No particular pattern just random colors from Noro and a giant granny..I am making this for my new love seat for my porch. I dont have it yet but I am saving for it. I dont really like Noro and cannot believe it is sock yarn. The socks would feel like straw. The feeling of this yarn is similar to sisal twine. Anyway its beautiful and it will look smashing on my love seat..Off to my pool to chill! Great weekend y'all!
